Ramp System

All VMI Summit conversions come with a durable, easy-to-use fold-out ramp that can accommodate manual and power chair users who prefer higher side rails. The fold-out ramp sits inside the vehicle cabin and extends outward when deployed.

MANUAL BACKUP

If necessary, the ramp can be easily deployed manually.

LOW RAMP ANGLE

Reliable hydraulic PowerKneel™ system creates a low ramp angle for easy access.

ROBUST DESIGN

Fold-out ramp has high side rails and accommodates 600 pounds.

Interior Space

Our Chrysler Town & Country Summit offers an obstacle-free front row for more wheelchair maneuverability. Both front-row seats can be removed to accommodate wide power chairs and provide multiple seating options.

The front row floor is free of obstacles to accommodate wheelchairs of almost any size in the driver and front-passenger areas.

Headroom

Our Chrysler Town & Country Summit provides enough door height to accommodate manual wheelchairs and small-to-medium power chairs. Once inside the van, the dropped floor gives wheelchair users a clear line of sight.

54-inch door height is suitable for most wheelchair users.

ACCOMMODATING VERTICAL SPACE

11-inch dropped floor provides ample headroom throughout the vehicle.

All VMI conversion floors are E-coated for optimal rust and corrosion prevention.

High ground clearance reduces scraping caused by speed bumps, crested pavement or dips.

Power Transfer Seat

A seat that swivels 120 degrees for a simpler and safer transfer from a wheelchair to the passenger or driver seat.
